Lauren Price The Lucky One
Lauren Price MBE OLY
Undisputed Welterweight World Champion | Olympic Gold Medallist | Proud Valley Girl
Lauren Price is one of the most remarkable athletes to ever emerge from Wales a southpaw powerhouse whose sporting legacy stretches far beyond the ring. Hailing from the Welsh Valleys, Lauren’s journey began with kickboxing and football, where she became a world kickboxing champion and earned 52 caps playing football for Wales.
But it was in the boxing ring that she made history. At the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Lauren became the first Welsh boxer to win Olympic gold. She turned professional in 2022 and hasn’t looked back since making headlines as the first woman to win the prestigious British Lonsdale Belt and becoming Wales’ first-ever female world boxing champion.
In 2025, she made history once again, unifying the welterweight division and claiming the WBA, WBC, IBF, and IBO titles cementing her status as an undisputed world champion.
Honoured with an MBE for her services to boxing, Lauren continues to inspire as a role model, record-breaker, and relentless competitor who proudly represents her community on the global stage.
